Bu Blankie, wanting! The kid thing has opened up a whole new world of wants, oh dear. This is just a blanket with a cute character and holes in it for gods sake! But what a sweet thing, I love it. I can’t wait till baby A is a little older and we can play like this!

Oh man. Cuteness abounds. Have a look at what Kimberly from MiniMagpie gets up to in Hackney, London, with her amazing ‘up-cycled’ kids clothes. Using old woolen jumpers, she sews them up into new and gorgeous onesies, pants, tops and hats for little ones. Get me to Savers asap, I have to have a go at this! Just in time for winter too, yum.

These are so cool right. Aerograms - do you remember them? I do - does that make me old?! Actually I think my Mum was the one to encourage me to write them overseas relatives, so perhaps they were more her being nostalgic than aerograms actually being that popular. But anyway. The post office would sell them with the price of postage included and I thought they were great as you didn’t need writing paper and you could post them straight away without going back to the post office for a stamp. These colourful beauties are hand printed by letterpress printers and designers The Hungry Workshop, local to Thornbury (woo!), but making a big splash in Melbourne and across all the design blogs du jour.
